Our History
Our history began in 1979 as a benevolence ministry of First Methodist Mansfield. In 2013, our organization became a separate nonprofit entity in order to broaden our services to the whole community, as well as adapt our ministry model to one of empowerment. In 2018, we changed our name from Wesley Mission Center to Mansfield Mission Center to demonstrate our desire to partner more broadly for the sake of our community. The Linda Nix Clinic became part of Mansfield Mission Center in 2019, thanks to a generous donation from Mansfield Cares. In 2022, Mansfield Mission Center partnered with YMCA Arlington-Mansfield to purchase 78 Regency with the desire of coming together to provide health and wellbeing services all under one roof.
